Pheasant Haven Kennels is devoted to the breeding and training of quality dogs for upland hunting. If you are a hunter, you know that there is nothing like hunting behind a trained gun dog who finds and retrieves the birds you shoot. We want you to be able to enjoy your dog to the fullest.

AKC Puppies: We have litters of Black, Yellow and Chocolate labradors one or two times each year. These puppies are from top notch blood lines and are bred to hunt. Check out Chief's pedigree, the foundation of our blood line. Reserve your pup today!

Puppy Training: All the pups are introduced to the basics of obedience, birds, and gun fire.

Obedience Training: When a pup reaches the age of 4to 6 months they begin obedience training. This covers the following commands: 1.) Sit 2.) Here 3.) Heel 4.) and any necessary nuisance training such as barking or jumping.

Upland Bird Dog Training: The dog continues their obedience training, exposure to gun fire and birds. They are taught to retrieve and are introduced to the field. Our access to 120 acres of prime upland hunting land gives us the optimum training ground.

Boarding: We offer short term boarding services at a cost of $14 a day. Long term boarding fees are negotiable. All shots must be up to date including vaccinations against Bordetella.
